Transmission Capital Partners have been awarded seven OFTOs by Ofgem, the British electricity regulator. These are:
Barrow. The connection to the 90MW Barrow offshore wind farm near Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. [read more]
Beatrice. The Beatrice offshore transmission assets connect the 588MW Beatrice offshore windfarm to the Scottish Hydro Electric 400kV electricity transmission network at Blackhillock substation near to Keith in Moray. [read more]
Dudgeon. The connection to the 402MW Dudgeon offshore wind farm, located off the Norfolk coast near Cromer. [read more]
Gunfleet. The connection to the 172MW Gunfleet Sands offshore wind farm near Clacton, Essex. [read more]
Lincs. The connection to the 250MW Lincs offshore wind farm near Skegness, Lincolnshire. [read more]
Ormonde. The connection to the 150MW Ormonde offshore wind farm near Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. [read more]
Robin Rigg. The connection to the 180MW Robin Rigg offshore wind farm near Workington, Cumbria. [read more]
Westermost Rough. The connection to the 210MW Westermost Rough offshore windfarm, located off the Holderness Coast in the East Riding of Yorkshire. [read more]
Rampion. Appointed as preferred bidder for the Rampion offshore transmission connection ('OFTO') on 29th August 2019 [read more]
Transmission Capital Partners is bidding for further OFTO projects, and we are also actively involved in the development of the regulatory regime for OFTOs so that it can be successfully applied to the larger and more complex transmission projects associated with the forthcoming “Round 6” offshore wind farms.
